Need a hand? Most of PromptDock is one keystroke — here's the quick version, and how to reach us.
Getting started
- Press Alt / in any AI chat box (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity) to open the picker — type to search, ↑/↓ to move, Enter to insert.
- Open the full library any time with Ctrl Shift P, or the toolbar icon.
- Prefer a bare / instead of Alt+/? Toggle it in Manage → "Open with".
- Right-click any selected text → "Save selection as PromptDock prompt".
Reusable templates
Add {{variables}} to any prompt (e.g. Write a {{tone}} reply about {{topic}}). When you insert it, PromptDock asks you to fill the blanks.
Activating Pro
After buying a PromptDock Pro licence on Gumroad, you'll get a licence key. Open the library (Ctrl Shift P) → click "I have a license key" → paste it. Your prompt limit is removed instantly. The key stays on your device; it's only checked with Gumroad at activation.
Backup & restore
Your library is stored locally. Use Export in the manager to save a JSON backup any time, and Import to restore it — your data is portable and yours forever.
