Privacy Policy
Last updated: 28 June 2026
PromptDock is built to keep your data on your device. Privacy isn't a setting here — it's the whole point.
What we collect
Nothing. PromptDock does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data. There are no analytics, no tracking, and no telemetry.
What's stored, and where
Your prompts, folders, and settings are saved only in your browser's local extension storage. They never leave your device.
Permissions
PromptDock runs on ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity solely to detect its keyboard shortcut (Alt /) in the chat box and insert the prompt you choose. It does not read, store, or transmit the content of those pages.
No accounts, no tracking
No accounts, no analytics, no tracking. The only time PromptDock contacts a server is the Pro licence check described below — never to send your prompts.
Payment & licence (Pro)
PromptDock Pro is sold through Gumroad. When you activate Pro — and occasionally afterwards to confirm an active subscription — only your licence key is sent to Gumroad to verify it. No prompts or other personal data are ever included. Payment is handled entirely by Gumroad under its own privacy policy.
Future cloud sync (PromptDock Pro)
Not yet available. If introduced, it will be strictly opt-in and end-to-end encrypted, and this policy will be updated first.
Your control
Export or delete your library at any time from the extension. Your data is portable and yours forever.
